They don't try to scam you into purchasing another license like some other companies.
I also like that they understand computer can "break" and if you have to add a new hard drive, they will reset your license so you can have the software you already paid for on the new hard drive / computer. Any issue is quickly and immediately resolved. There is no going back and forth with low level techs who don't understand the issue. When I have a problem, they respond to my email very quickly and have always provided a solution that works first time. The customer service form Leawo is one of the best I have ever come by. Leawo Blu-ray it seems process a little 'better' ( or not so bad) the video / audio comparing to VLC in such situation.
While the program's name is Leawo's Blu-Ray Player. And if VLC and Leawo Blu-ray Player are very similar concerning 'engines' that process audio / video as Ai Haibara pointed before, its not strange both of them have similar issues too. It is unclear why the company made the decision to turn it into a free product but it cannot be lack of popularity if you take the 3.4 million download counter on the program's website into consideration.
Playing them in Windows Media player allows my computer to still run at a decent speed while working. Leawo's Blu-Ray Player, previously available for 50, has been turned into a free program. I find this easier than loading and running iTunes in the background which is a CPU hog. I also use the DRM removal to pull some videos and music out of iTunes that I play in the background on my computer while working. Besides, it is also a free player that offers completely free service to play DVD, video (up to 1080p), and audios without any quality loss. I like how I can adjust the quality level to what I want. As a professional 4K Blu-ray disc player, all latest Blu-ray discs on the market could be played back on Leawo Blu-ray Player. I use the Prof Media for converting old DVDs to a digital format, and they do a perfect job at that. Leawo produces great products that actually do what they state. Leawo Blu-ray / DVD / Video Player 3.0 Final Deutsch: Leawo macht seine Blu-ray Player Software, die auch DVDs und andere Videos abspielen kann, vollkommen kostenlos verfügbar.
